Type I and IV Hypersenstivity

| Types I and IV hypersenstivity were so proposed by Gell and Coombs in 1963 as two of the subtypes of the hypersensitivity response, the former IgE/Mast cell-mediated (allergy) and the latter delayed and T cell-mediated. |
